The Program
Student participation is accepted by successful passing of auditions. Auditions will be held the last week of September, once school has begun. This allows for the students to get acclimated to their classes, and for parents and the host-school’s administrative staff to make any necessary arrangements or adjustments for the program. The process will take place over the course of three days. Various styles of dance are introduced, and artistic and creative competencies are challenged as well. The acceptance procedures commence the following week, along with the welcome and New Dancer Orientation.
Student Participation Requirements
Students will be required to maintain an average GPA of a 2.5 to participate and remain in the program. LPDA will be monitoring progress with our LPDA Database. Students and parents will also be required to read, acknowledge and sign a behavior contract outlining inappropriate behavior not allowed and grounds for removal from the program. A waiver of liability will also be issued, as the program is of an athletic nature, and injuries may occur.

Program Fees
Before choosing to sign up your school for the LPDA Program, first make an effort to speak to and collaborate with parents and administrators to make sure our program is a right fit for your school. Although these fees are modest, economic factors play a part in participation in some cases.
- 1 Class Per Week - Tuition: $15/Wk. or $45/Mo.
- 2 Classes Per Week - Tuition: $30/Wk. or $90/Mo.
- 10% of all the tuition fees earned from the program will go directly to the school where the program is housed for that year.
- LPDA will also be offering “Achievement Awards” to upstanding, well-rounded and deserving students who cannot afford the tuition, allowing students to participate in the program for free in uncertain economic circumstances.
Program Benefits
